Terms and Conditions

1. Who we are

CaseDrill is offered by:

  • tomtech software, Eenmanszaak (sole proprietorship)
  • Based in Valkenburg, the Netherlands
  • Chamber of Commerce (KVK) number: 99782766
  • VAT number: NL005411187B83
  • Email: casedrillsupport@gmail.com

In these terms, "we" means the business above and "you" means the person using CaseDrill.

2. What CaseDrill is

CaseDrill lets you practise consulting case interviews with an AI interviewer, by voice or by typing. You get questions, spoken or written replies, feedback and a score. The interviewer is an artificial intelligence and can make mistakes. Scores and feedback are practice aids, not a prediction or guarantee of how you will do in a real interview or of any job offer.

3. Your account

You sign in with a link sent to your email address. You are responsible for keeping access to that mailbox safe and for what happens under your account. Please give a correct email address and do not share your account.

4. Case credits and prices

  • The tutorial case is free, once per account.
  • Other cases cost one credit each. A credit is used when you start a case.
  • Credits are sold in packs. The prices are shown on our pricing page in euros and include VAT.
  • Credits do not expire and cannot be exchanged for money, except as described in section 6.
  • If you leave a case before it is finished (for example by refreshing the page or closing the tab), the case is not saved. Starting it again uses another credit.
  • Some people had an earlier CaseDrill subscription. It continues on its existing terms (unlimited cases, at most 3 per day) until it ends. It is no longer sold.

5. Payment

Payments are handled by Stripe, so you can use the payment methods it offers at checkout. Credits are added to your account as soon as the payment is confirmed, normally within a minute. You receive a receipt by email.

6. Right of withdrawal and refunds

If you are a consumer in the EU, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days without giving a reason. This applies to credits you have not used yet: write to us within 14 days of the purchase and we will refund them.

When you start a case, we begin providing the digital service straight away. At checkout you ask us to do this and you accept that you lose the right of withdrawal for a credit once you have used it. A credit that has been used cannot be refunded, except where the law says otherwise or where a technical fault on our side cost you a case. In that case, write to us and we will give the credit back or refund it.

To withdraw or ask for a refund, email casedrillsupport@gmail.com with the email address you paid with.

7. Fair use

Please do not:

  • copy, resell or publish our cases, questions or answer keys;
  • use bots or scripts, or try to bypass the credit or access checks;
  • try to disrupt or overload the service, or try to get at other people's data;
  • use CaseDrill for anything unlawful.

We may suspend an account that does this. If that happens without good reason, write to us.

8. Voice recordings

If you use voice, your browser sends your recording to us for transcription. We do not keep it. See our Privacy Policy for the details.

9. Availability and changes

We work to keep CaseDrill running, but we do not promise it will always be available or error-free. We may change, add or remove cases and features. We will not remove credits you have paid for without giving you a fair alternative or a refund.

10. Liability

We are liable for damage that results from our intent or gross negligence, and for anything the law does not allow us to exclude. Otherwise, our liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event. We are not liable for indirect damage, such as lost opportunities. CaseDrill is a practice tool: we are not responsible for the results of any interview or application.

11. Intellectual property

The site, the cases and the software belong to us. You may use them for your own practice. Your own answers remain yours.

12. Complaints, law and courts

If you have a complaint, please write to casedrillsupport@gmail.com first. We aim to answer within two working days. Dutch law applies. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer rules of the country where you live, and you can bring a dispute to the court that has jurisdiction under those rules.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. If a change matters to you, for example to your paid credits, we will tell you by email.
